Quality Considerations
The difference between a dependable result and a fragile one is often invisible at launch. These are three areas where deliberate decisions compound over time.
Every synchronized field needs a documented owner. The integration specifies which system creates, updates or deletes each value, how conflicts are resolved when both sides change simultaneously, and what happens when one system receives a record the other cannot accept in its current state.
